CellRam Installation and Setup Procedures
This document contains step by step instructions that will assist you in installing CellRam and the Wireless Marketing Wizard. It is a simple procedure and takes only a few minutes.

BEFORE YOU START * Use a  machine with Excel installed if you have one.
Run the CellRam Installer. f you are reading this on the computer you wish to install into, click HERE and choose Run or Open.

To run it on another machine go to http://www.cellram.com/. In the upper left corner, click the yellow “Install FREE Trial” link and choose “Run” or “Open”
Click Yes to Install . Continue selecting the default options to continue with installation.
   Near the end of the installation, you will see the "Creating Icons" message.
The final installer dialog will then appear.
  In the final installer screen, with the “Finish” button, check the “Launch Program File” check box and click "Finish', the registration form will appear.
Register for your Free Demo Complete all fields in the registration form and click Submit.
Select Carriers A dialog will appear that allows you to select the carriers that you work with. Select the carriers you offer services for and click to “ADD” them to the right column. Select all carriers you offer so we can enable functions for you.
Set For Wizard Use In the lower left area; click Sales and Marketing Only You can easily return to the Setup screen and change this setting to try out ASC functions later. The Wizard is where the profit is!
Submit Registration Data Click “Done” to register with the SoftSell server and receive a license. The Setup Screen will appear.
Enter Setup Data For the Marketing Wizard, the ONLY login data required is for the Indirect ( I.N.C.)  website.
Enter I.N.C. login Enter INC login data into the fields in the upper left hand corner. This is so the Wizard can automate logins and access the WINSS lookup tool for you. We DO NOT receive your login data, It is not transmitted anywhere. It is encrypted and stored on your computer..  
  Use the red Test button to verify that login data is entered correctly. The Test function will return a dialog informing you if automated logins were successful. All login data is case sensitive so check the CAPS lock key.

Additional Login Functions
Enter FDT and SNAP login data if you wish to automate. If you use FDT and SNAP on this computer enter the login IDs and passwords to automate login procedures. It’s not required now, you can always do it later.
Save Setup Data Click the “Save” button in the bottom right corner.
  Click ‘Yes’ to create an icon on your desktop for the Wizard and CellRam.
  Enter the names of people that will use the software on this computer. (Easy to edit later)
Windows Vista users Only A message will appear that states a Windows restart is required. Close all programs and select Restart Now. The Restart Now button will perform a machine restart. There is a restart later button but the Wizard requires a registry change to take effect before it will function properly..
  After Restart Use the 'CellRam' desktop Icon to launch the Wizard.
Check Version Number We are always improving our software. The Installer is not updated as often as the software.
  SoftSell software automatically upgrades itself when required after initial setup.. .
Update your Version In the lower left corner click the blue “Main Menu” button.
In the lower right corner. Click the black “Upgrade” button 
INSTALLATION IS COMPLETE!

3. Complete all fields in the registration form and click Submit. The CellRam Setup Screen will appear.

4. Enter your Login ID’s and passwords for web sites into the fields in the CellRam Setup screen. This data is not transmitted. It is encrypted and stored on your hard drive for CellRam to use to automate login procedures. You need to do this only once in each machine where CellRam is installed.

* FDT login data is only required if you wish to use the automated FDT login convenience feature.
* If this machine will not be submitting to Repair Resources, RR (Repair Resource Login Data section) login information is not required.
* Indirect, Motorola, and NASC (Repair Login Data section) login data is required for CellRam to complete repair processing procedures for you.
BE careful to check the CAPS LOCK KEY! – All logins and passwords are CASE SENSITIVE. This is the most common problem with Setup. New login test buttons for web sites allow you to verify that your Login data is correct. Click them as you complete login information.

5. You will see 5 check boxes at left, four are checked by default. If you wish to use the customer callback functions leave the default settings for now. There are 3 print options, The first is for the Lookup screen that you are familiar with. The second option will print the voucher screen when you submit with CellRam. The third option is for the CellRam Repair Ticket. We recommend that you leave this option on as it is unique to CellRam – Click “Text/Receipt” as most users prefer this format. NOTE:The "ASK" option adds steps - try to choose Yes or No for print procedures.

6. NASC Settings
Click the "New Voucher System" button ONLY of you are currently using the new voucher system. As of 7/1, this is PA, LA, GA, and parts of CA.

6. Click “SAVE.” CellRam will ask for the Indirect Password to make sure it’s correct as it’s required to return to the Setup Screen for future changes.

7. CellRam will ask to create a desktop shortcut, Click “Yes.” CellRam will then log into NASC and obtain the voucher and non-voucher lists for your area as they may not be the same for all areas of the country.

8. The Action Menu will appear. Almost done… In the lower right just above the CR Logo; click “Agent Setup” and enter the first names of people that will use CellRam on this computer. This function is used to create and edit the popup list of employees for use during submission and ticket printing functions. Names should appear above each other in the list

9. FOR MULTIPLE MACHINES IN A SINGLE LOCATION: . There is one last thing…. In the lower left corner, Click “Reports / CallBack” to display the Main Menu. Center screen on the right side, click “Set Data Storage Folder.” In Drive C, select the “cellram_share” folder and click “OK – Yes.” Click Cancel in the lower left corner to return to the Action Menu. READY TO GO! NOTE: This folder select function can be used to allow multiple computers in a single location to share data. This enables many functions.

Type a PTN, SIM, and IMEI. The cursor will advance automatically for you. Click the button with Red text in the upper right corner. This red text will not appear until you enter data. For Assistance and/or training, please call us!

Assign A Function Key
If you wish to activate CellRam using a keyboard function key (f-key). Right click on the CellRam Desktop shortcut and select Properties. Click into the Shortcut key field and press the desired "Function key." Try F7. If you get a beep, try another key as that f-key is already assigned to another program or function.

Quick Launch
If you wish to activate CellRam using a single click, copy the shortcut to the "Quick Launch" area on the right hand side of the Windows Start Button. If quick Launch is not enabled in your machine, right click on the Windows Task Bar, Click "Properties - Show Quick Launch - OK". NOTE: You cannot assign a Function key to a Quick Launch icon.
